1. Introduction and scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Sentez Inc. ("Sentez," "LooksMax Pro," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the LooksMax Pro mobile application, website, and related support services.

LooksMax Pro is an AI-powered appearance analysis app for men. The service is designed to review selfies and related user inputs in order to generate facial structure, skin, hair, and progress-related insights.

By using the service, you acknowledge that your information may be processed as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the app, and certain technical data from your device and browser.

• Selfies, photos, and related image metadata you upload for analysis.
• AI-generated scores, observations, recommendations, and progress history tied to your sessions.
• Support information you send us, such as your email address and the contents of your messages.
• Device and technical data such as device model, operating system, app version, crash logs, diagnostics, IP address, region, and language settings.
• Usage data such as feature interactions, session timing, screen flow completion, subscription state, and aggregate engagement metrics.

3. How we use your information

We use collected information to operate, improve, protect, and support LooksMax Pro.

• To analyze selfies and generate appearance-related outputs within the app.
• To maintain user history, progress tracking, and service performance.
• To troubleshoot bugs, monitor reliability, and prevent abuse or misuse.
• To manage subscriptions, trials, and App Store-related service access.
• To respond to support, deletion, privacy, or billing inquiries.
• To improve our AI systems, product UX, and internal analytics using only aggregated or de-identified data — never selfies or face images.

4. AI processing and selfie handling

4.1 What we collect. When you use the face analysis feature, we collect a single still JPEG photograph of your face, captured in-app via the device camera or selected from the photo library. We do not collect facial geometry, faceprints, biometric templates, ARKit face mesh data, depth maps, or video. The photograph is captured only after you tap "I Agree, Continue" on the in-app AI Photo Analysis consent screen.

4.2 How we use the photograph. The photograph is used solely to generate your appearance score and personalized skin and hair recommendations displayed back to you in your in-app analysis history. It is not used for advertising, profiling, identification, authentication, or training any AI model.

4.3 Third parties and storage. The photograph is transmitted over HTTPS to our backend on Google Cloud / Firebase, where it is stored at the Firebase Storage path images/{userId}/{timestamp}.jpg (encrypted at rest, TLS in transit), with analysis scores stored in Firestore at users/{userId}/analyses/{analysisId}. From our Firebase Cloud Function, the image is forwarded as a base64-encoded payload to our AI processing partner OpenAI L.L.C., specifically the gpt-4o-mini vision endpoint, solely to obtain the analysis result. Per OpenAI's API data-usage policy, content submitted via the API is not used to train OpenAI models, and is retained at OpenAI for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before being deleted. OpenAI processes data under contractual data protection terms (OpenAI API Data Processing Addendum) that provide protections equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy. We have evaluated OpenAI's privacy and security practices and confirmed they meet equivalent standards. We do not share face data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or any other third parties.

4.4 Retention. The photograph and analysis record are retained on our backend until you delete the analysis from in-app history, or for a maximum of 30 days, after which a scheduled cleanup job permanently deletes the JPEG and the Firestore record. On-device copies are retained until you clear app data or uninstall the app.

4.5 Your control. You must explicitly grant consent on the in-app AI Photo Analysis screen before any photograph is captured or transmitted. You can revoke consent and permanently delete any individual analysis (including the stored JPEG) at any time from Settings → Analysis History.

You should only upload images you have the right to use. If an image contains another identifiable person, you are responsible for having any necessary permission before uploading it. Our outputs are informational and self-improvement oriented and are not medical, dermatological, psychological, or professional grooming advice.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information only when reasonably necessary to run the service, comply with law, or protect our rights.

• Service providers that support hosting, analytics, diagnostics, customer support, and app infrastructure.
• Payment and platform providers such as Apple, to the extent needed to manage subscriptions and transactions.
• Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law, legal process, or valid governmental request.
• A buyer, investor, or successor entity if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or asset sale.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security enforcement.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, whether you maintain an active subscription or account relationship, and whether we must preserve records for tax, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to request a copy of data associated with you.

8. Children’s privacy

LooksMax Pro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will review and delete the information as appropriate.

Users between 13 and 17 should only use the service with parent or guardian permission where required by applicable law.

9. International transfers and security

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take commercially reasonable steps to protect data using administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or stored through the service.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date and publish the updated version through the website or app.
